I wanted to say thank you so much. I cannot believe I got so many comments in a matter of a few days. You guys are the best! I also listened to all of your helpful wordpress suggestions and i decided to download the plugin. I’ll probably backup the cpanel database too.
Now for the juicy stuff. So what does the term “onliners and offliners” mean to me? (I use these terms a lot, so if you are going to be a regular reading you might want to know the terms haha). Anyway an onliner are my friends online while on the other hand an offliner are my friends offline. Simple. Right? So here is the million dollar question, maybe not a million dollars cause sadly i have nothing to offer but a comment in return, but here it goes : Should I (Tiffany) tell my offline friends about the site?. There are pros and cons with both. I know a lot of people online do not share their online life with their offline life, but I realized I have nothing to hide. I don’t blog about super personal stuff anymore. And once I get my portfolio I want people to see it. (I think it’s tacky when people post it as an album on facebook…) But the negatives are that they will ask me how to do something. They might creep on me… a little to much. I have to be super careful what i say… yea. I do not know..
Pros-They get to know this side of me, They can see my portfolio, They can appreciate the online world more, I don’t have much to hide anymore.
Cons-The whole school might find out, I might be asked to make stuff (I am fine, as long as they are close to me), I might get creepers on this site, I have to be careful what to say…
Anyone, opinions, comments?! Maybe I’ll just give it to my best friends…or the people who would appreciate it?! gosh i am torn between this.

Haha I think “onliners” and “offliners” are terms anyone (at least anyone reading your website, because chances are they have a site too lol) will get what you mean by offliners and onliners.
But I know how you feel. I get that feeling all the time, to want to let my friends know about my website so they can see what I can do and maybe people will appreciate it. The thing is, I’ve already experienced that when ALL of my friends and a lot of people in my grade knew about my website (when it was a complete joke but I had some design skills going on ha) and it was nice because some of my friends did appreciate the online world and one even got me to help them make a website which in turn was cool but a lot of work for me, like you said, they’ll start asking you for stuff. I didn’t have anything to hide back then so I did share my website but now I feel my website is more professional and it’s more personal to me, that I just don’t want to share it with my friends, just not right now. Maybe in the future.
So yeah, those were my confessions of a teenage blogger. < HA THAT WAS A GOOD ONE!
But I think in your case, since you have nothing to hide and you do want to show off your design skills, maybe sharing your website is a good thing. But with the just share it with a few friends, I don't think that will stay a secret because things always find a way of getting out. I think your pros do overpower your cons though. You don't have anything to hide and you should showcase your portfolio so maybe sharing Falling Up will be a good thing. It's never an easy decision, but when you do make a decision, make sure it's the one you really want to do.

Ahaha, make a gravatar then! I just used a picture of myself instead of making one because the last time I made mine, I was oblivious to the fact that it sucked and I left it there for the world to see for a good year. -_- Waiitttt! You can delete your old gravatar and change it though! So just go to the website, log in, and upload a new one! I think you can have multiple saved to your account, just only one can be set as your main one at a time. Ahaha, I got my smilies from like-honey.com I think! And it's all good! You just got back from your revamp and the site's all you can think about. 
I do that all the time after I make changes to mine. haha
OMGGGGGGG. I didn't know they got banned! They don't tweet about it! LOLZ. I just googled it and I was so surprised! Well, not really about them getting banned because yano, it's ATL and they're a bunch of idiots, but I love 'em.
The stupid Six Flags people! URGHHH. I REALLLLLLLY wanted to go to the Bamboozle Road Show because the line up had ALL TIME LOW in hugeeeee letters so of course I had to go! I didn't in the end but good thing since they were banned right? haha So lame though, who would banned those adorable guys?! But I agree, I hate when fans are like that and act all high and mighty but only like bands or artists for their looks. That should be a bonus! Not why you like them! I prefer appreciating their musical skills more than a an artists' looks.

I agree! And I have no idea! I usually just back up my theme because it's really all I care about, and because my server/host/company thing is supposed to back up my database for me.
THERE WAS A CHALLENGE MARATHON ON THE OTHER DAY! I think it was The Ruins? Idk, I didn't watch it because I didn't like that cast lol. But I agree! I MISS EVAN! He was so hot and cocky and amazing! I wasn't too into the whole Wes/Kenny ordeal last challenge because I was a fan of both and it made Wes seem like such an asshole. I don't watch Big Brother, however I hear this season is really good! But I do watch Degrassi! I've been watching it religiously this season but it's over and now we can't discuss it!
And you should! NSN's music just has a way of making me happy. lol I listen to it whenever I'm sad because his lyrics are so funny and cute. But now I'm off to see college guys! Adios! Talk to ya when I have wifi!

I do have something to blog about but I have like 10 comments to return and I can’t be bothered, aha. Sometimes, I don’t post blogs that I’ve written because I feel people would just laugh or something.
I know, tell me about it! She had work, Uni and everything else and manages to keep up with all of those domains!

I would never tell any of my offline friends or my boyfriend about my website. It’s like my place to escape from the offline world. I can say whatever I want and no one I know in person will ever read it. I probably wouldn’t be able to talk about certain stuff if my offline friends knew about it, it would just be too weird.
I would like some appreciation from my friends in a way though, they can see how well I can build a website and such but I don’t think that’s worth it.
But it’s up to you whether you want to tell your friends. I’m worried that mine will take the piss out of me because I’m 21 but you’re a lot younger so your friends might not have a problem with it at all.

No, you’re not telling your offline friends of your site. You’ll just end up regretting it like me haha. I had another site before Volty and it took me ages to get them to forget I ever did web design at all. But idk, maybe it’s just me and my past experience making me aghast at your idea, aha.
And yeah I know, that’s true. I’ll try to get on here more often and return comments as soon as I can! So what have you been doing all summer?

DO NOT TELL THEMM!!!! No one fromy my family knows about my site and that’S good. Now about my friends. The only friends of mine that know about my site are the ones that actually have a site too. So they are both my onliners and offliners. 
But I did tell some of my closest friends but I don’t think they visit much anymore anyways. But don’t tell anyone cause then you really have to be careful.. you can’t, complain too much about teachers or something cause someone could always tell the teacher. And yeah like you say there might be lots of creepers. XD
Yesss I have a crush on the Jersey Shore girls.. cause ya know.. I’m a boy. XD so I don’t have a crush on the boys! haha xxxxx

Also, I think you should like post the link on your facebook or whatever social networking site you have, and if your friends really want to creep you that bad they will! haha hope my advice helped a little!
Well, me, personally…I have given my site to a few people, but I don’t just go around to everyone I know saying “check out my website!!!”, it’s mostly just when friends are truly interested and want to see my work, I’ll tell them about it. But I usually just give people my flickr photo album URL, I’m a lot more comfortable with showing people my photography vs. my blog. But like, I don’t mind people I know closely knowing about my blog, as they know what goes on in my life anyway…I wouldn’t want to tell people I live with though (even though they already know because they see me blog all the time and ask “what’s unspoken truth??” so, yeah), lol. But they’re most likely not gonna check it out and read stuff. hopefully. =x

Well my first domain; icy-sun.info I won it 
I had it for a year. Then I was tired of the name so I decided to get onehero.org. Thing is, at Namecheap’s christmas contest I had won many many times so I had lots of namecheap credits 
so I got my new domain and never paid. xD I guess i’d still be on webs if I hadn’t won.. okay no maybe I would have entered more contests.. I was lucky first domain contest i enter I won.

Everybody has asked that. No. Lol. We’ve been over for over a year now. This is a new guy that I started dating about 2 months after me and him broke up the last time. He still talks to me though.
hmmmm… i think it’s okay for you to tell your closest friends.
but if you have nothing to hide and you said you are careful about your actions, then i dont see any reasons for you to hide the site. :p the only problem is… be ready for haters for im sure there will at least one… but who cares? :p

Yeah, thank god today we had a lab in science class I sooo did not want to do it alone so I asked the teacher if I could go with my friend (her partner was absent) so we did the lab together and it was okay! 
But the girl missing is coming back tomorrow so all the places will be filled. -_- Teachers used to be so strict in primary school.. we couldn’t do anything in there… but now since grade 7 it’s better. 
We can have gum and water and our math teacher even lets us eat! 
I like math just fine too.. when I get good grades as well! 
But I work hard and I do my homework so I don’t have any problem with that. Today, we had to turn in our first math hw and there was already some people that didn’T do it. I don’t get them.. it was easy and it was the first! xD I’m always with the same people in every class.. cause we’re in a special enriched program so we only have 3 classes so it doesn’t change.

Sometimes it’s bittersweet knowing your friends know of your online life? You know… like, for me, I didn’t really TALK to my friends about my website only because my site was a way of telling my online friends… either the good or bad stuff. Sometimes my online friends have MORE AND MORE to say than what my real friends would think. Wait, does that make sense? Okay basically, I KEEP my online life (esp. my site) off from my friends in real life because 1)when I have a problem, if it’s safe enough, I’d ask the WORLD for help. Some people have more to say worth listening to.. then, my offline friends. and 2) sometimes your offline friends will take your posts in a “wrong” way. IDK. It’s up to you tho. My site, several times, got me in trouble because people say when I blog I sound “differently” then from when I’m in person, idk. WHatever. But, It got me in trouble because people took it in a much more “different” way than its suppose to. And, they blew it out of per portion. Which made it even worse.
Yeah school’s been around for a while now, aha. We don’t have summer holidays here, unless you’re in an international school. But it’s pointless anyway, we practically live in summer everyday. It’s always hot around here, I don’t even remember the last time it rained where I live. It’d be thundering with the sun shining and really just crazy weather going on. Though we do have a week of hols starting this weekend.

How’s life!?
I had fun at Hershey, hehe. I went on all the non-wooden roller coasters and the water floom thing. My school has a bowling team, but I don’t know how to get on it or anything, or if they’re any good.
It doesn’t matter what I’m called, hehe. And how did I get the nickname Adam? Well, Adam Gontier, lead singer/rhythm guitarist of Three Days Grace, is my idol and also my username on Mibba.
And ooooh, that’s cool. (:
I don’t really tell people I know offline about my website, but most of my friends know that I spend a lot of time online. I don’t think I’d have a problem with people finding out because, like you, I don’t really blog about personal things that I’d need to watch myself with.
Although I wouldn’t really mind too much if people found out about my website, I don’t think I’d go and show it to them just for the sake of it.
I guess it really depends what sort of person you are as to what you decide to do. And of course, what you blog about. But if you’ve got nothing to hide then I don’t see a problem in telling people. Just hope the cons don’t outweigh the pros when people do find out.
I know! It’s such a hard decision…personally I chose to just tell my close friends at first, and after a while I put the URL in the website section of FB. It’s really not all that big of deal, I mean none of my school friends comment or visit my site and I can always protect blogs or block the link from certain people on FB. well whatever you choose, good luck!
I guess so. Originally, I became his friend for vengeful reasons but now I just don’t care enough. He actually had the nerve to tell me I deserved better than Josh. Lol.
