> Blogging > I’m backI’m back! And this time I’m going to stay. Hopefully. I think i made this promise tooo many times. Anyway i am back, with how i want to role. I am not going to complain about how the blogging world change… I just did it there, nah that doesn’t count. I don’t care if you hate All Time Low, I don’t care if my layout blinds you. I stop caring. Why? cause its my site. I hate all the pre-mades and all the no header layouts. So yea I’m back and it’s going to be better than ever. Also I am tired of going by different pen names. I am officially declaring my name as Tiffany again. I mean who cares if there are a lot of Tiffany’s. That’s my real name. And I won’t blog about what I’m eating or what movies i am watching, just to blog. I am actually going to blog if there is a reason.
About Me
This is a quick biography about me. I came onto the web in 2008, had a subdomain. At the end I bought a domain (colorsplatter.com) and had that for about a year. Then I bought this. Moved host three times and here I am. If i knew you before/ we talked or we were affies PLEASE comment me. I love reuniting with old onliners. It makes my day. But one thing you should know is that I do not really follow the “typical” blogging sites. I don’t validate my CSS (because I’m proud that i am actually coding something) lmao -aka i do not code well. Also I think i am tougher now. I was very vulnerable when I first made tarnishedstars (my subdomain).
Ps-If I want to backup my wordpress, i need to backup the cpanel database too right? I didn’t backup my database but i packed up my wordpress from my old site. Also how many times does a regular blogger backup?

But that’s good. You should blog about whatever you want and do whatever you want with your own site, because it is yours! Other people’s opinions don’t matter. And about the WP, I’m not sure? I just back up my themes because I can always install WP again and just install the themes and everything’s okay. And I usually back up my files (everything not just WP themes) every other week because my website goes down a lot due to server/host issues and my bandwidth runs out so I need to frequently in case something goes wrong and I almost get a heart attack. haha
All and all, YAYYYY YOURE BACKKKKK! WOOOO! STAY THIS TIME!

Really busy getting my brother ready for college and myself for school. How have you been?! School starts September 7th for me I think? I’m not really sure. haha. When does yours start? And thanks! I’m glad you like them! And thanks again! Haha oh I’ll take some really HQ pictures of I see any hotties for ya! 
But no really, I’m gonna take pictures if I see any. lmao Omg, I love Christofer Drew (NSN)! He’s so adorable! I saw him live at Warped and it was so great. He had the biggest crowd all day but he had to sit because he had crutches. 
His new album is really good actually!

Welcome back, again! I hope you manage to stay open this time. I close far too much as well so I hope I can stay open too. Glad to see you’ve come back thinking like that. I remember before you were complaining about how the blogging world changed, but tbh, it can’t stay the same forever!
Just blog whenever you feel like it and blog about whatever you want to. It’s your website so who cares?!

I backup my site every day, well I backup my database every day. This plugin is really good: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/ you can edit the settings so it sends you a copy of your database daily, weekly, or whenever you like.

I just ask an online friend to backup my wp for me.. LOL according to some people you should backup it every other day or everyweek.. it all depends on your choice of data backup
Ha, I love my band shirts, too. At the Hot Topic where I shop, they extended the denim sale another week because it was such a good hit. Cartilage piercings I’ve heard do hurt a little afterwards, but I think you’d be fine. Well, I’ve got a very high tolerance to pain, so I could do that and it probably wouldn’t hurt me at all. That’s just me, though.

Well since you know I’m a grammar nazi, I’ll let you in on some typos/grammatical errors in your little about me. “I had a website” should be “I’ve had a website”. You forgot to capitalize the “I” in “I’ve met” haha, but everything else is capitalized! “I rather go to a concert then to the beach” should be “I’d rather go to a concert than to the beach”. When you compare things, you use than. When you’re indicating time, you use then.
You gotta get your grammar in tip top shape if you want to do well on those SATs girl, so study study!
Glad to see that you’re in your IDGAF mode, although I still think you should make your font size bigger even though you don’t care about my opinion. It’s really small. :/ But yay for blogs that aren’t about nothing. I hate reading those blogs…& I kind of leave really bad comments when I end up at those blogs because there’s NOTHING TO COMMENT ON.
Okay onto your questions—> to back up your wordpress you just go to tools > export. There is a plugin you can download that will send you backups of your wordpress everyday if you’d like..or however many times you’d like it. I have it sent to me everyday, but I don’t actually save them because they’re in my e-mail so it’s whatevers. You can go to your cPanel & back up your MySQL database as well. That also works if you have multiple things that use your database such as the PHPAsk It script or the counter that counts how many times someone downloads your stuff. Um otherwise, you don’t need to. The best back up you can download is from your cPanel where you go to Back-up Wizard & click on full back up. Then a full backup of your entire account (wordpress, pictures, etc) will be uploaded onto your server & you can download it via your FTP program.
Btw validating your css helps you figure out your errors, so it’s more helpful than anything. But when your CSS is validated, you have some sort of bragging right to know that your code is 100% error free.
Welcome back. You don’t need to change your name just because there are a lot of people with the same name.
To backup wp, just download the plugin. You don’t need to back up cpanel.

Yeah, I never really had a real appreciation for animals until I got Tyson. I loved him to pieces. She doesn’t have the ferrets any more but they were disgusting creatures aha, don’t ever get one.

Um, I never validated my CSS, it was just always valid for some reason. Mine won’t validate at the moment cause I’ve used the shadows and it’s not valid. XD Everything is changing, you’re right, it doesn’t mean it can’t be as good as before.
The plugin just backs up the database, which includes your posts, comments, pages etc. If you want to backup everything like your themes, plugins etc you’ll just have to download your WordPress folder to your desktop every now and then. You download the plugin and upload it to /wordpress/wp-content/plugins.

I’m not the most confident person at all. I feel like i just say the wrong thing then it’s over. I don’t even think before i speak sometimes so, i might say something stupid.
Nope just download this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/ plugin unto your wordpress activate it. The set it to backup your wordpress. You can also schedule it, it will send a backup to your email once a every week or daily. It depends on which option you choose.

Well you should definitely download the plugin that backs up your WP for you because then you always have a copy. It’s a lot different than just using the backup wizard because i dont know how often you’d use that. You get a .zip file & you can just unzip it & then import it, yup.
Grammar is really important & so is spelling. The SATs will definitely ask that of you if you’re not on top of it. I didn’t do well on my SATs which is why I obviously didn’t go to a UC after high school. I didn’t try hard enough because I felt that I could save my parents money & not be suicidal for the first 2 years of post-high school at a community college instead.

Well that was 3+ years ago so who cares..? It’s not a big deal because I’m going to an amazing university this fall so I’m way more proud of myself for choosing a community college & then transferring to my dream school than settling for a school that wasn’t even on my list of possible choices. Any sort of tests you’re dealing with now..the SATs, ACTs, IBs, whatever, none of that crap will matter 10 years from now. In 10 years, will those scores really determine whether or not you get hired at a certain job? No. I didn’t think that I would get a 2100 on my SATs & it’s not like I didn’t try my best, I gave up because I was settled on transferring 2 years after high school which was a better choice for me. I’m not telling you to give up…I just don’t give a crap about the SATs or anything like it because I’m already in college so it doesn’t matter to me anymore.
Yeah, I’m like that too. I have loads of blogging ideas at first then I run out.

Yeah, I need the time off. I have to leave at 6:30am and get two buses, it takes just under an hour to get there, and over an hour to get home. It’s so long so having the time off in between is really handy.
I don’t really wanna have ads on my site, it’s just a hobby so it wouldn’t feel right to be honest.
Do art schools….even require proper SAT scores? My friend is going to a fashion school & I’m pretty sure her classes have nothing to do with anything intellectual other than sewing & drawing.
